The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, small areas of solder, tiny area of filigree honeycomb pattern deficient. Possibly later single pin fitting, with safety catch.
- Metal unsigned.
- Natural pearl: of white to silver body colour, with rose overtones, part-drilled, in closed back setting (base probably worked), with small blemishes and a few pits. Also accompanied by a report from The Precious Stone Laboratory London, 2000, report no. 966168: 8.61 - 8.70 x 8.17 mm, weighing 4.22 carats (16.90 grains), natural pearl.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 3.00 - 3.20 carats.
