- Overall condition good. Small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Necklace clasp secure, pendant fitting including bail detachable with a screwdriver (deficient), small loop opposite the bail possibly from an earlier fitting, later single pin fitting, with safety catch. - Metal unsigned. - Sapphires: total weight approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, with typical natural inclusions, some scratches and small nicks to facet edges, colour zoning. - Diamonds: principal old cushion-cut diamond weighs approximately 0.95 carat, assessed to be I to J colour, VS to SI clarity, total weight approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats. - Please refer to the Conditions of Sale for further information regarding coloured stones.
