The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Normal signs of wear commensurate with age, some traces of tarnish and soldering. With later single pin fitting, that can be detached. Stalk possibly added from another jewel.
- Diamonds: approximately 4.50 - 5.50 carats total, on average G to I colour, VS to SI clarity. One small rose-cut diamond deficient.
- Pearls: cream body colour, good lustre, nacre with some dents but generally in good condition overall.
