The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, small traces of solder to the fittings. With hook fittings, safety catch possibly later added.
- Metal unsigned.
- Natural pearls: of cream body colour with rose overtones, drop-shaped, good lustre, nacre with some pits, darker band to the base of one of the pearls.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.10 - 1.20 carats, one small rose-cut diamond deficient to the bow motif.
