The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Typical signs of wear consistent with age, traces of tarnish.
- Metal unsigned.
- Ruby: measures 8.0 x 7.5 x 3.6 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.70 - 1.75 carats, with typical natural inclusions, nicks and scratches to facet edges, chip to the girdle (protected by the mount).
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.80 - 2.00 carats, assessed to be on average I to K colour, SI clarity.
