Lady Marianne Irene Napier was the wife of Commander Hon. Archibald Lennox Colquhoun William George Napier of the Manor House, Beaminster, Dorset. He died in 1951 and was the son of William John George Napier, 11th Lord Napier of Merchistoun (1846-1913).

Nancy Young was the goddaughter of Lady Marianne Irene Napier and was the daughter of Sir William and Lady Mildred Willcox. Doreen Willcox was Nancy Young's sister-in-law.
