The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some minor areas of wear consistent with age, clasp secure.
- Enamel: lockets have been re-enamelled, condition good.
- One heart containing a lock of hair. Some glazed compartments are shut more securely than others, a few quite hard to open. One heart with residues to glass. One side of the split pin attaching half pearl deficient (visible when looking through the back of heart - however half pearl still in place securely).
- Metal unsigned.
- Half pearls: of cream body colour with rose overtone, medium lustre.
