The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Minor signs of wear. Small areas of tarnish and evidence of solder. Clasps secure, with safety catches.
- Fitted blue case embossed with initials M. R.
- Additional marks: Portuguese hallmarks (dog head) for silver and gold, maker's marks 'C' (unidentified).
- Natural pearls: of light cream to cream body colour, with orient overtones, round and drop-shaped, generally in good condition overall, some small blemishes and pits.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 3.00 - 4.00 carats.
