The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Minor signs of wear. Some scratches and nicks to the ring shank throughout, consistent with normal wear. Necklace clasp secure. Earrings with post fittings.
- Additional marks (necklace): K18., maker's mark 'M' for Mikimoto, M motif pendant for Mikimoto.
- Additional marks (earrings): K18., each stamped '0.31 ct' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds; butterflies also signed Mikimoto and stamped K18.
- Additional marks (ring): Pt950, '1.99 ct' referring to the carat weight of the diamonds.
- Cultured pearls: of grey body colour, with rose, aubergine and green overtones, well matched, very good lustre, some small blemishes, small traces of glue visible to the earrings.
- Diamonds: total stated weights of 0.62 carat for the earrings and 1.99 carats for the ring.
