The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Some traces of tarnish and solder to the clasp. Clasp secure.
- Metal unsigned.
- Pearls: overall of cream body colour, a few smaller pearls of yellowish body colour, with green and aubergine overtones, (near) round, drilled, with typical variation to nacre but generally in good condition overall, some small blemishes and pits, a few with more noticeable blemishes. Also accompanied by a report from The Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain, 1996, report no. 1228250: found to consist of a minority of cultured pearls and a majority of natural pearls.
- Sapphires: with scratched surface, not tested.
- Loose pearls: ranging from approximately 2.85 to 3.75 mm, of white to cream body colour, drilled, please note that these pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
- Diamond: weighs approximately 0.15 - 0.18 carat.
