The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Some small areas of tarnish. Necklace with flexible links, with secure clasp and safety catch, earrings with clip fittings.
- Additional marks: maker's mark 'M earth with a cross, a dot beneath M' for Mellerio dits Meller.
- Mother-of-pearl: in good condition, a few scratches throughout.
- Amethysts: some residue beneath, some minor abrasions and scratches.
- Peridots: with some typical inclusions, some minor abrasions and scratches.
- Diamonds: approximately 20.00 - 22.00 carats total.
