The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Minor signs of wear. With post fittings.
- Additional marks: London import marks for 18 carat gold, date letter ‘X’ for 1997, sponsor’s mark ‘MLtd’ for Mikimoto, each earring engraved ‘0.29 ct’ referring to the carat weight of the diamonds, pin and post with maker’s mark ‘M’ for Mikimoto and stamped K18.
- Cultured pearls: of cream body colour with rose and green overtones, round, well matched, good lustre, minor blemishes and light scratches.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 0.50 - 0.60 carat.
