The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear.
- White metal ring with yellow metal ruby mount, unsigned.
- Ruby: stated weight 1.92 carats - measures approximately 8.70 x 6.70 x 3.60 mm, typical inclusions throughout, some eye visible, a few surface reaching, small cavities to the pavilion.
- Diamonds: approximately 0.90 - 1.00 carat total.
