The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age, evidence of solder. Glass cover in good condition. Dial with some discolouration between the 6 and 8 o'clock mark. Single pin fitting, with safety catch.
- Additional marks: French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold, partial maker's mark 'V F apple tree' for Verger Frères. Movement marked 18 Jewels. 4ADJ Swiss.
- Emeralds: oval-shaped cabochon emeralds measure approximately 27.0 x 22.0 mm and 17.9 x 15.3 mm, conical cabochon emeralds measure approximately 5.6 mm, with numerous eye visible inclusions, some surface reaching, some scratches and small nicks throughout.
- Onyx: in good condition overall, minor abrasions.
- Enamel: overall in good condition, a few small areas of loss.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, assessed to be G to I colour, VS to I clarity.
- Sapphire: minor scratches and nicks.
