Maison Bapst was one of the most prestigious French jewellery houses of the 19th century, celebrated for its role as official jeweller to the monarchy during the Restoration and the Second Empire. Known for its refined craftsmanship and elegant use of precious stones, the house created important pieces for the Duchess of Angoulême and Empress Eugénie, many of which are now preserved in the Louvre. Its name remains associated with the sophistication and artistry of French court jewellery.
