The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good to fair. Wear commensurate with age including many areas of oxidation, fractures throughout the metal and many areas with evidence of repair including resoldering. Inner headpiece of the tiara has come apart from the base at the central point. Few of the smallest diamonds deficient.
-Rubies: with surface abrasions and chips to many examples.
-Diamonds: approximately 400 with approximate total weight 4.00 - 4.50 carats, of decorative quality, few of the smallest examples deficient.
