The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, including abrasion marks, small indentations to the metal, traces of tarnish and evidence of solder to the reverse. Brooch fitted with a removable single pin back with safety catch; earrings fitted with clip backs of later addition.
-Additional marks: British assay marks on clip backs of later addition.
-Diamonds: on average H to I colour, with a few lower grades, SI clarity.
