The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, including abrasion marks and small indentations to the metal.
-Purple sapphire: 2.35 carats (Gübelin), with typical inclusions, some surface reaching and a few chips. The remaining with few typical inclusions, some surface reaching.
-Ruby: with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching and abraded corners.
-Diamonds: estimated I to J colour, I clarity, with one chip to the girdle. The remaining bright and lively.
