The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: fair. Shows signs of wear commensurate with age including abrasions and indentations to the metal throughout. Black enamel with eye-visible areas of loss, predominantly to the perch. One emerald cabochon with heavy chips. Fitted with a single pinstem at reverse. Please note the pinstem is white gold.
-Rubies: with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, surface abrasions and some eye-visible fractures across the table.
-Emeralds: of decorative quality, with numerous surface abrasions. One example with heavy chips.
-Diamonds: G to H color, VS to SI clarity. Some rose-cut examples with chips.
-Enamel: with surface abrasions, chips and areas of loss. Some eye-visible areas of loss to the black enamel, predominantly to the middle of the perch in between the birds.
