The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear including minor abrasions to the metal at reverse throughout. Areas of adhesive residue visible at reverse of brooch. Brooch fitted with a double pinstem at reverse. Earrings fitted with clip backs for pierced and non-pierced ears.
-Additional marks: (each) 18K, ©; (brooch) PLATINUM; (earrings) PLAT.
-Cultured pearl: silver bodycolor with soft orient. With minor variations to nacre including wrinkling.
-Diamonds: G to H color, VS to SI clarity with few I clarity examples. Few examples on brooch with chips.
-Enamel: in overall good condition. One brooch petal with significant evidence of repair to black enamel.
