The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age including abrasions and areas of pitting to the metal. Evidence of soldering to the metal on the reverse. Fitted with a single pinstem at reverse. Enamel with few eye-visible chips and areas of loss.
-Additional marks: unknown mark.
-Rock crystal: with surface abrasions and few chips.
-Onyx: with minor surface abrasions and few chips.
-Enamel: with few eye-visible chips and areas of loss, predominantly near the each end of the brooch.
-Diamonds: old-cut K to M+ color, SI to I clarity, I to J color, VS to SI clarity. Few examples with chips.
