The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, including abrasion marks and indentations to the shank. Evidence of resizing.
-Ruby: measuring approximately 12.55 x 8.75 x 3.70 mm (Gübelin), with typical inclusions, surface reaching and chips. Some chips more noticeable to the girdle and pavilion.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
