The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: fair. Shows signs of and areas of enamel loss, especially on the underside of the ring and at one point near the tail, where enamel has been lost and now reveals a gold peg setting. One area of the shank likely previously broken and later repaired, with visible seam between the two segments.
-Additional marks: ©, PLAT, 18K (partially obscured).
-Rubies and emeralds: with numerous typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some hairline fractures, some surface abrasions.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
-Enamel: with multiple areas of loss, as mentioned above and at the head, areas of discoloration around the perimeter of each scale, abrasions throughout.
