The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: very good. Shows wear commensurate with age including abrasions to the gold. Fitted with a double pinstem clipback.
-Sapphires and yellow sapphires: with numerous typical inclusions, some surface reaching, with chips and abrasions to facet junctions throughout. One yellow sapphire significantly chipped at a corner, but largely covered by a prong and the basket.
-Rubies: with typical inclusions, some surface abrasions.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
