Schlumberger’s ‘Dolphin’ brooch design was made iconic in 1964 when Richard Burton gifted Elizabeth Taylor a larger dolphin brooch for the premiere of her film, ‘The Night of the Iguana.’ Exemplary of Schlumberger’s whimsical approach to sea creature motifs, the design was later reimagined for Tiffany & Co.’s 2021 Blue Book Collection: Colors of Nature.
