The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are scuffs and tears to the tweed cover. The leather handle has been replaced. The circuitry chassis has been remounted. The power transformer mounts are bent. The speaker grill, and back grill of burlap-muslin are stained. The speakers have been remounted. The tubes 5Y3-GT; 6V6-GT; 6SC7; and 6SQ7 have been removed. Some have been retained and accompany the lot. The speakers are coded 285 415, and 285 443. The transformer is coded 166 419. Not tested.

Guitars, amps, cabs and pedals (Instruments) are composite Instruments fabricated with multiple interchangeable parts and components. These include but are not limited to necks, frets, tuners, pickguards, knobs, switches, pickups, and potentiometers. Many instruments in this collection have been used as tools of the trade for a professional musicians and may have often been altered to fit their needs as an artist. These alterations may include changes to the original manufacturer’s parts and finishes. Each lot is sold “as is”. Neither Christie’s nor the Sellers warrant that any Instrument exists in its original state or that any alterations noted in any Condition Report are final.
