The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, scratches and sinking of platinum in various parts of the ring.
- Additional marks: illegible maker's mark, slight traces of French assay mark for platinum.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of ring: 1.5-2.0 carats. On average F to G color and VVS clarity, minor surface-reaching and chips at the girdle, bright and lively.
- Emerald: of 10.95 carats. With typical inclusions, minor surface-reaching and chips at the edges junctions.
