The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, a few abrasions throughout the gold from wear and traces of tarnish on gold (especially at the back of the smallest clip). Each clip is fitted with a double pinstem clipback.
- Additional marks: unidentifiable maker’s mark for the smallest clip.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of the smallest clip: 1.6-2.0 carats, approximate total diamond weight of the largest clip: 2.1-2.6 carats. On average H to I color, VVS2 to VS1 clarity. Bright and lively.
- Enamel: some very minor lacks of enamel and a few surface-reaching.
