The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasion marks. Brooches fitted with a double pinstem clipback and earrings fitted with posts for pierced ears.
- Additional mark: 750.
- Peridots, tourmalines, topaz and citrines: in good condition.
- Cultured pearls: of white to cream colour, partly with rosé and green overtones. With few typical blemishes and lack of nacre and scratches at surface. Half-drilled.
- Diamonds: bright and lively.
