The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with abrasions and severe oxidations stains throughout brass. Fitted with a hinged easel.
- Dial: guilloché brass dial signed Cartier.
- Case: signed Cartier Paris.
- Glass: with a severe scratch, not near center of the dial. The glass has recently been re-glued by a watchmaker.
- Agate: in good condition, large crack (front, middle).
- Chalcedonies: in good condition, scratches and chips at surface.
- Enamel: in poor condition, with severe cracks, scraches and lack of enamel.
- Movement is ticking at time of cataloguing. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is highly recommended. Movement manufacturer: EWC.
