The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold. The base is cracked on one side, a few blow on the gold have deformed it (above on the front), on the edges and corners. The clock is accompanied by its winding key. The travel case is in used condition (the handle is broken).
- Diamonds: carat weight can not be gauged due to the setting. Bright and lively.
- Enamel: in good condition, scratches and minor cracks at surface.
- Movement: the movement is not in working at time of cataloguing and has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended. The spiral balance is in very good condition. Movement is signed Cartier and numbered 916 and 1541.
- Dial: signed Cartier. In good condition, with minor scratches.
