Literature
The Parisian workshop of Henri Picq, active at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries, gave rise to some of the most exceptional jewelry of that period. Founded in the late 19th century, Picq quickly gained a prestigious reputation due to the exceptional quality of its craftsmanship, attracting the attention of prominent Parisian jewelry houses, including Cartier. From 1900 onwards, Picq closely collaborated with Cartier, contributing to the creation of some of the brand's most famous jewelry pieces until 1918.

Picq was renowned for his sumptuous jewelry from the Belle Époque, admired for both the quality of the materials used and the expertise and delicacy with which they were crafted. An eloquent example of his craftsmanship is this magnificent 'résille' necklace, designed with finely braided pearls and adorned with diamonds. This necklace stands out due to the uniqueness of its pendant, which can be transformed into an elegant brooch.
