The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: fair. Shows normal signs of wear, commensurate with age. With scratches and abrasions throughout gold, severe oxidation stains.
- Emeralds: with typical inclusions, chips and cracks at surface. Drilled.
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, chips and cracks at surface. Drilled.
- Sapphires: with typical inclusions, chips and cracks at surface.
- Natural pearls: of cream, champagne and pinkish bodycolor, good luster. With some typical blemishes and some lack of nacre and scratches at surface. Drilled.
