The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, with minor abrasions throughout gold. Fitted with a concealed clasp.
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Enamel: in good condition, very minor scratches at surface.
- Pearls: of white to cream bodycolour, partly with rosé and green overtones, nice luster and typical variations to nacre. With some typical blemishes and some lack of nacre and scratches at surface. Drilled (not for the button-shaped pearl).
- Diamonds: bright and lively.
