The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, minor abrasions throughout the gold from wear. Earrings fitted with posts and clip backs for pierced ears. Ring fitted with an inner recizer ring. Gross weight of each element: ring 12.67 grams, earrings 15.17 grams.
- Additional marks: French assay mark for gold (eagle) traces on ring, 750, EM on earrings.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of ring: 0.5-1.0 carats, approximate total diamond weight of earrings: 0.5-1.0 carats. Approximate total diamond weight of set: 1.5-2.0 carats. A few minor surface-reaching, bright and lively.
- Spinels: for the ring: 4.7 carats, approximately 10.8 x 9.5 x 5.9 mm (Carat Gem Lab). For earrings: 6.3 carats, approximately 9.4 x 7.9 x 5.5 mm and approximately 9.3 x 7.9 x 5.8 mm Total spinel weight of set: 11.0 carats. With typical inclusions, a few minor surface-reaching and minor chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle. Heavy chip on table at claw (ring).
