The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear including traces of tarnish. One ruby deficient on the biggest starfish. Both brooches fitted with single pin. Gross weight of each element: 32.5 grams (biggest starfish) and 28.2 grams (smaller starfish).
-Rubies: with typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips at the junction of the table's facets.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
