拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold.
- Emeralds: with typical inclusions, minor chips at the junction of the table's facets and at surface of cabochons.
- Opals: light grey to grey with a vivid play-of-colour in all spectral colours including red (SSEF certificate), minor chips at surface of cabochons.
- Sapphires: with typical inclusions, minor chips at surface of cabochons.
- Diamonds: with chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
