The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: fair. Heavy signs of wear, commensurate with age. Cracks and scratches on the watch crystal, scratches and traces of tarnish on metal. Fitted with a pinstem clipback. The diamond bow brooch is removable. With its winding key. The node pin is a later addition.
- Case with glazed front and back. 'Avance' and 'retard' engraved in gold at the back movement.
- Diamonds: for a total approximate weight of 3.0-4.5 carats, a few surface-reaching and chips, bright and lively. Some tiny diamonds are missing.
- Movement is not ticking at time of cataloguing.
