The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear with minor abrasions throughout silver, lack of gild on silver. Fitted with a monogrammed crowned 'M' clasp. On the front of the vanity, the birdcage can be opened. Opening on a mirror that opens in two parts and six compartments: one compartment containing a silver lipstick tube (empty), four empty rectangular compartments of various sizes, one rectangular compartment without cover and one compartment opening onto two rectangular compartments and an oval compartment. The vanity is presented with two make-up brushes in used condition.
- Additional marks: unidentifiable and partially erased French maker's mark.
- Mirror: is not broken, many oxidation freckles on the entire surface.
- Coloured sapphires: bright and lively.
- Enamels: in good condition, minor scratches at surface.
- Diamonds: with minor chips at the junction of the table's facets.
