The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout silver and gold, lack of gilt, oxidation stains. Brooch fitted with a single pinstem clipback.
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, severe chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
- Red stones: several chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Tsavorite garnet: with typical inclusions, severe chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Natural pearl: of golden bodycolor, partly with rosé and green overtones, nice luster and typical variations to nacre. With some typical blemishes and some lack of nacre and scratches at surface.
- Diamonds: with severe cracks chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
