The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold. Gross weight of each element: 11.2 grams (ruby ring) and 9.7 grams (sapphire ring).
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, severe chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
- Sapphires: with typical inclusions, severe chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle. One sapphire deficient.
