The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, minor abrasions throughout the gold from wear. Fitted with a double pinstem clipback. Slightly damaged Van Cleef & Arpels fitted case.
- Additional marks: 750, OR, 65, ©.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of clip: 0.05-0.2 carats. A few minor surface-reaching, bright and lively.
- Chrysoprase: in very good condition, a very minor scratch.
- Rubies: approximate total ruby weight of clip: 1.5-2.5 carats. With typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips.
- Sapphires: approximate total sapphire weight of clip: 2.0-3.0 carats. With typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips. One of the cabochons is severely damaged.
