The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold, oxidation stains. The blackened gold of the truffle is a little abraded and faded. Fitted with a double pinstem clipback.
- Additional marks: 750.
- Coloured sapphires: with typical inclusions, minor chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Garnets: with typical inclusions, minor chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Diamonds: with chips at the junction of the table's facets.
