The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold. Fitted with double pinstem clipbacks. Gross weight of each element: 13.3 grams (dark green enamel frog brooch) and 12.6 grams (apple green enamel frog brooch).
- Additional marks: 750, ©65, OR (on each brooch), unidentifiable and partially erased French maker's mark on the apple green enamel frog brooch.
- Enamel: in good condition, several scratches at surface and lack of enamel.
- Diamonds: with chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
