The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear with minor abrasions throughout gold, oxidations stains. Pendant can also be worn as a brooch. Brooches fitted with double and secured pinstem clipbacks. Gross weight of each element: 22.4 grams (rose brooch), 21.3 grams (cat brooch) and 19.9 grams (panther brooch).
- Additional marks: rose brooch (©B65, 24, 750, 98), cat brooch (18k, unidentifiable foreign maker’s mark, maltese cross mark), panther brooch (OR, ©66, 750).
- Coral: good condition. A few blemishes, some very minor losses and scratches at surface.
- Emeralds: approximate total emeralds weight: 0.04 carat. With typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips at the junction of the table's facets.
- Enamel: in good condition, with scratches at surface.
-Diamonds: on average E to G colour, VVS to VS clarity. Colour has been gauged as far as the yellow mounting permits.
