The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition : good. Shows normal signs of wear, commensurate with age. Minor abrasions throughout the gold from wear. A tiny rose-cut diamond deficent.
- Emeralds: approximate total emerald weight of brooch: 3.20-3.70 carats. With typical inclusions, very minor chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of brooch: 2.40-2.90 carats. On average H to I color, VS to SI clarity. Few chips.
