The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, a few scratches and abrasions throughout the gold and platinum and several tarnish traces inside the case. Opening to reveal three compartments: a powder compartment, a tube of lipstick compartment including a gold lipstick tube and a third empty compartment. Fitted with a mirror on the top cover of the vanity case, the latter is in fair condition : it is not broken or cracked but the lead coating on the back is crumbling. Hinged plaques. Accompanied by a little make-up brush and two miniature resin combs (broken).
- Additonal marks: 750 and 233 F on the lipstick tube, 382 AL and 750 on the vanity.
- Diamonds: approximate total diamond weight of vanity case: 1.00-1.50 carats. On average F to G color, VVS-VS clarity. Very minor chips at the junction of the table's facets and at the girdle.
