- Overall condition : good. Shows normal signs of wear. Minor abrasions throughout the gold from wear. Brooches fitted with a double pinstem clipback. Gross weight of each element: 8.94 grams (amethyst brooch) and 9.47 grams (sapphire brooch).
- Additional marks: 750, Made in Italy, *963 MI.
- Coloured sapphires: total coloured sapphires weight of brooch: 13.11 carats. With typical inclusions, very minor chips at the table’s facets.
- Amethyst: total amethyst weight of brooch: 11.22 carats. With typical inclusions, very minor chips at the table’s facets.
- Diamonds: total diamond weight of brooches: 1.31 carats. On average F to G color, VVS clarity. Bright and lively.
