The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout the gold from wear. Fitted with a double secure pinstem clipback, pins are a bit deviated. Each brooch designed as a polished gold scrolling brickwork panel.
-Additional marks: DEPOSE SSM (on each brooch).
-Diamonds: on average F to I colour, VS2 to SI2 clarity. Colour has been gauged as far as the yellow mounting permits.
-Rubies: with typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching, some severe chips at surface.
