The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on burlap. Not lined. Very minor frame abrasion. Fine lines of drying craquelure. One tiny paint loss above the beige building and a possible further one to the left of the dark purple element at the centre of the composition.
Examined under ultra-violet light. There is evidence of inpaint to the aforementioned craquelure along the left edge and upper edge corner. An area of fluorescence, possibly cosmetic retouching to old craquelure, to the pine at the upper centre.
